A few people have installed electric power steering. Search the forum for "power steering"

A company called Howe makes 1.5:1 and 2.0:1 speed up steering boxes. I have considered using one in my Revolt. They mount inline right on the steering shaft. I used them in stock cars. Just remember the faster the steering the more strength it takes to turn it.

The problem with quick steering (90 degree turn to full lock turn) is this causes the steering to kick back hard in ruts. When I had my old Pilot I had a steering damper on it, it still kicked the steering wheel hard in ruts. You can use steering quickener to give the 90 degree full lock turn. But you need power steering, to stop the kick back when you use a steering quickener. A steering quickener mounts in line with he steering shaft. Here is a link to a steering quickener:
COL 22370 Coleman Billet Steering Quickener, 2.0 to 1 Ratio Coleman Machine | Racing Parts | (636) 677-1320

In the pictures the blue part is a steering quickener and the black round part is power steering, this set up gives me 90 degree to full lock steering with no kick back. The buggy shown in the pictures is not a Redline, but shows how it can be done.

I have a C-Moore buggy its a little bigger that a Redline buggy. I following is a link to a site that shows how I set up my buggy with a Pilot steering wheel, you to go a couple of page into the post to see more pictures of my buggy.

Paraletic (how to make a hand control steering wheel)

I am a paraplegic and needed my buggy to have hand controls and I used a Pilot steering wheel .
