Default New trailing arm rear w/ 930's

Well it's done. New trailing arm rear with a true 18" of wheel travel (instead of the actual stock 13.5) and 930 race prep CV's. No more popping out CV's and having axle problems. This baby is ready to go. Thanks

I must say that it looks awesome! Could you please explain wheel travel so that us folks in SC can fully understand it? I've learned quite abit from your other posts.

Sure,

Wheel travel is the total distance that the wheel travels when all components are installed ie. Shocks, axles, limiting straps or anything else that restricts the up and down motion of the wheel. Generally, the more wheel travel that you have the better. Travel will be most noticable on whoop roads and the rough stuff. The goal is for the suspension to "suck up" all of the bumps and for the chassis to remain smooth. Travel and suspension is the main factor on how fast an off road car can go (given that you have the motor). I hope that explains it. And thanks for the comments on my car.

I got to see Rick's super long travel work at Sand Hollow, Ut. He fly's through the whoops. Very impressive.
His fabricator, Denis, has a very long travel Honda Quad. 19" Yes, you read it right 19". It was fun to see them both eat up the rough stuff.
Thanks for a fun afternoon.
