Mechanical retard here so please bear with me…

I plan to turbo my Revolt someday. If I buy this exhaust will I have to change it all out again when I can afford the turbo?

Thanks,

Steve

no, if anything the exhaust will help with the turbo since this exhaust flows more air. also the fuel controller would be a good idea, especially with a turbo.. you can add or take away fuel to make sure you generate the most Horsepower.

Well... Yes and No. The turbo will connect to the "Y" shaped exhaust manifold. It might even have its own manifold.
In most turbos, the exhaust exits the side. About 90 degrees to the the old exhaust. But you should be able to use the slip-on muffler, from Big Gun.
With the turbo forcing more air, the engine will need more fuel. A fuel controller will help with that. Depending on how much air is added, or Boost, there may be a need for bigger injectors. Some systems will even add a third injector.
Rickdude's nitrous oxide system has a third injector.

More air + more fuel = more power

Steve,

When you turbo the engine there will be more to it than just bolting on a turbo. It will require you to change internal components in the engine too. I talked to the guys a Big Gun and they tell me that a lot of aftermarket turbo kits have an exhaust designed to maximize the Hp that the kit can produce. They said they would need the specs of the turbo to determine if their pipe would enhance or hinder the Hp. I am working on finding out about the parts involved in the kit and the exhaust system that is currently on the turbo Revolt that has been built.

Why would there be a difference between the XL and the regular Revolt? I would think the electronics would be the same.

There is no difference in the programmer. The programmer will work on all three Redline machines. There is a difference in the mid pipes between an XL and a Std Revolt. Currently the pipe that is being released is a pipe for the Revolt.

Hey guys I posted some new pictures of the Big Gun pipe and programmer installed on my Revolt. This is the finished product. There is plenty of cable that comes with the programmer so you can mount it just about anywhere. You don't have to put it where I did.

I am still offering the same deal, so if you are interested get ahold of me. Follow the link to the new photos:

No problem. Give us a shout anytime after 10 MST would be good! We run hard all week (and we were doing business in Vegas all day today) so we try and catch up a little on Sunday Morning if you know what I mean zzzzzzzzzz!!!
Also, if you have any questions that I can help you with don't hesitate to ask. I have a couple pointers that I think you will be interested in so remind me to talk to you about them.
