I heard a rumor that the Oregon dunes or a part of them are closing .

Its been several years since we have heard anything about closing our dunes. About 20 years ago they made noise buffer closures around the outer perimeters of the Florence Dunes so that the Californians that bought property next to the dunes didn't have to listen to us. They also made noise regulations that were enforced for awhile but haven't been for several years now. The tree hugger groups have always tried to take more. They did create designated routes through the dunes that we are supposed to follow but its pretty hard for the law to enforce that since there are way fewer enforcers in the dunes since they have had so many cut backs in money.
