Re: New Guy with an urgent request The crank seal is installed after the case studs are torqued. It simply is pushed in with your fingers. It will slide out if there isn't something holding it in for part of the radius. The stock Redline motor plate is made to cover about 1/3rd of the radius of the seal for this reason. |

Got what I needed from Cameron and RJ Calurso, Thanks for everyone's help, I'm sure I will be looking for some mentoring on the Weber 750 NA. does anyone know about the need to hold in the oil seal at the output shaft? I would think that it is pressed in and would not need anything to keep it in, but someone mentioned that under pressure the seal starts to push out?????? Just asking. |
