Moab any time
I'm retired and can pretty much go riding any time for a few days. Moab is a quick 6 hours for me. (Denver Area) I like blasting the washes and crawing over the rocks.
I'm not as familiar with the San Rafael Swell but know some pretty neat trails there and would like to expand that. (note the Swell being higher altitude the temp stays cooler for longer in the season)
Any way...I'm willing to meet any of you nice folks for an impromptu 3 or 4 days in either of these places most any time. I'm kinda lame about checking the forum so write to curtisbecker1038@msn.com or call 303-358-7203.
Note to Desert Fox...my trip to the Lil' Sahara dunes has been delayed a week or 2 cuz Mark has some obligations that came up.
