This is a discussion on 1st revolt with electra steer within the Members Rides forums, part of the Members category; well i just got it finished last night what a world of difference it makes. also it was So easy to install. pics...

Its Just Like Power Steering On A Car.
Except It Runs Off Battery Power And Doesn't Pull Horsepower From The Motor.

about $1000 plus the u-joints which are $40 each

XMOTORCR,
Did you cut your existing steering shaft and weld on new u-joints? If so, were they the 3/4'" weld ends? I have a brand new electra steer unit for my RZR-S and frankly, it ain't going on the RZR anymore!! LOL The new Riot gets the new toy!!

LOL The new Riot gets the new toy!! the u joint that goes on the rack i cut that right at the weld then grounded it flat then welded the shaft to it. hope that helps
