Default New Intake

Here are some new pics of my Intake for racing. It is just 2 1/4" Silicone Tubing like what you would use for a turbo. Each side has 2 45Deg elbows and then 5 1/2" long center sections.

Do you run outerwears or foam pre filters over the k&n's?

How's the intake noise being that close to you? I know in the race Riot we wear ear plugs partly due to the noise being generated from the intakes in the cockpit.

I dont run outerwears for racing because they restrict the airflow. We race on a track that is usually watered so there isnt much dust. I am going to get 2 stage UNI filters for the sand

The intake noise isnt too bad. I always wear a helmet but I dont think I will need ear plugs. I am looking at getting a Radio anyways so I can have a spotter and those come with the earbuds.
