There is a guy named Adam from Airdam that does a $100 mod on the Arctic Cat Prowler clutch that gives it 10 mph on top and tons of lowend, hundreds have done it and swear by it. I thought it might be worth a call to him and if it works on the Revolt maybe get a group deal. 601-218-9065

Your right, he has 5 stages. I was just going with the stage 1 on the Prowler. If you go to the Arctic Cat forum you can do a search on Airdam, the results seem remarkable. He also sends your clutch back the same day he gets it.

i google'd the revolt clutch and can not find any pictures anywhere. since i am not a paying vendor i can not get on here and post links to my website or solicit business but i can try and answer some questions.
i do clutch machining to get the best benefits out of clutches. i have done extensive testing with arctic cats, suzukis, and can-ams and have had trememdous gains out of each of those bikes. i feel certain that i can help you guys out with your bikes but untill i can actually see one of your clutches i dont particularly know what exactly i can do. i did find a link in the RZRforums and a guy with a redline was asking questions about the weights and such for his redline and all the RZRguys had the answers so i can safely assume the redline DOES have a comet setup like the polaris bikes. if that is so, weight matching and changing out the primary springs are about the only way to gain more low end out of these bikes, however the sky is the limit on top speed. from understanding the comet and the polaris secondary setup, i feel certain that i can gain at least 20% more top speed in high and low range. but again untill i see the setup and can play with it i wont know the exact numbers of the gains. i have 5 different stages of my machining on the cats, and can usually gain 20-25% in top speed, along with more low end, and better acceleration. and whenever i can see some pictures of your setup i can likely see what can be done to your bikes. the "100 dollar mod" is my first stage of machining to gain low end, and stages 2-5 are all geared towards more top speed. the higher the stage you go the more top speed you gain. |
