Oh you make me laugh!
I think they can set up a payroll deduction. Ask Mike, he'll figure it out for you.

Its is a nice looking bumper for casual bumps moving them around and recreational riding not good for racing. It will help from impacts to the cage itself which makes it worth it. For racing you need a much stronger bumper not made of aluminum or a different design.

I like the idea of aluminum. I would think that is what you want so it absorbs the impact and keeps from tweaking the frame. Thanks for the response. I called Mike to get one.

Aluminum can be very tough. 7075 is more rigid than some CoMo steels. It has very little flex to it.
I'm not sure what the factory bumper alloy is. My guess would be 6061-t6 or 5053-t3. Both can be bent without cracking.
If you get to rigid of a bumper, when you do get hit, it can bend the frame too. IMO it would be better to bend a replaceable bumper, than a frame.

I had a tree jump behind me, when I was backing up and I hit it hard. (Not my fault?) The bumper, moved on its mounting points and bent one tab. I repaired it and bolted it back on. Good as new.

I had a guy rear end me in the last race and the rear bumper bent in far enough to hit the secondary clutch and bend the output shaft on the transmission. So it looks like I will be changing the transmission or the shaft if one is available. Maybe I was unlucky but if every time you get hit from behind it would suck to buy a new transmission. I still put a Redline bumper back on. Guess I have not learned my lesson yet.
