Cool Queen Racing Riot Weber Engine

Hello Folks,
I just wanted to follow up on my Queen Racing Engine (QRA). I've been a little more closed mouth about results because I don't think its fair to really stand on it without the bonafide HP results.

That said, I do have an update for you!! I am now having a very bizarre but welcome problem because of my engine. I keep blowing mufflers apart!! I actually blew two huge holes in the Big Gun exhaust and the packing, end cap, and center insert that keeps the packing in. This was on a freshly repacked muffler. I wanted everything fresh when I put the motor in. I loved my Big Gun exhaust and don't have a single hard feeling!! Why? Read On!!

Next, I installed a Yamaha Titanium R-1 muffler. Yes, a large 1000cc super bike muffler. After 30 minutes of testing I am now beginning to blow the packing out as well. What a glorious problem!! I'm breathing well enough to blow apart mufflers!! I'm guessing well over 100hp, maybe 115, hard to tell.

My sollution? I like the Big Gun product and have recently been picked under their race program as well. So, I am adding a 2 into 1 into 2 exhaust so I can run dual muffler cans. I'm also having custome length cans constructed to shorten the muffler and decrease back pressure even further.

So, there you have it. I have a bona fide 70.00 mph by Gps on a car that weighs about 1700 pounds without driver or co-driver. I haven't completed dialing in my clutches because I can't keep mufflers on it and when they come apart, my AFR goes hay wire. So, I live and I learn and go to plan B with a pretty neat problem to have.

Don't you think having enough power to blow up mufflers is a neat problem to have to overcome?

What a great problem. I also heard that Holtz Racing was having the same problem with there Polaris RZR. They switched to S&S and are having great success. I havent seen the S&S but it is a complete intake and exhaust system.
