This is a discussion on new front and rear bumpers within the Bumpers, Skid Plates, and Redline Protection forums, part of the Safety category; I'm building new bumpers for the riot , looking for a few design ideas if any of my fellow redline owners have any cool ideas ...

I like the round one as well. Might recommend a standoff of sorts to help protect the muffler by giving a few inches additional length. Not much safety but a bit better....

Hey Kevin,
Of the two I like the round one, I also have another idea for the Revolt. If adding an after market exhaust (supertrap, biggun, etc) and it is routed up just above the rear cross bar, that leaves a space below for a small tool box and the existing brackets from the old "coffee can" can be used for mounting it. Just an idea. |

mounted the rear bumper and built a new front bumper... the front bumper is removable and is mounted to the lower two a arms tabs
(this will make your lower a arms tabs alot stronger) the top part of the bumper is mounted to the factory mounts. when i designed this bumper i was trying to make the bumper look diff. than all other side x side bumpers and i also was thinking it needs to be strong and stay close to the chassis for ground and rock clearance . |

For racing purposes I would like the bumper to mount lower so when (not if!!) I get rear ended at a corner, my axles or shocks are protected!! Any ideas on that?
